VISION, MISSION, GOAL and OBJECTIVES

Vision

In cognizance of the very important role of the library plays in carrying out the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the University and the lives of the future professional, the UNEP library envisions itself to be a moving force in the promotion of a research culture, a resource center where people can explore, gain, and improve their knowledge through its various resources, and a hub for intellectual exchange in the Bicol region.

Mission

It should endeavor to establish a rich venue for research, an environment conducive to man�s search for knowledge and information, and a proactive member of the academic community that it serves.

Goal and Objectives

As an academic unit, the library exists to support curricular, research, and extension service programs of the University. It shall serve the information needs of its clientele - administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni of the University. It shall open the venue to outside researchers who have the same information. It is committed: To provide standard, relevant, and current resources and information materials, both print and non-print, that shall support the instructional research and recreational needs of its community; To acquire and organize these materials for easy access, to ensure that these resources are actively maintained for their efficient and effective utilization. To have well-trained library personnel who will extend expert professional services to the library users.
